What material provides a durable and effectively covering paint coating on an external facing wall made of clinker bricks?
Paints can be used for covering coatings on a facing wall made of clinker bricks: calcareous, cement, silicate, silicate dispersions, silicone and solvent facade paints. Naturally, all varnishes can also be used, however, the coatings they create cannot be called effective. High diffusion resistance to water vapor, unattractive external appearance and high cost are the negative features of such coatings.
Please list the activities related to the application of a covering coat of dispersion paint on a new façade made of clinker brick. No damage to the face wall was found
The activities related to the application of the coating on a facing wall made of clinker brick are as follows:
1) priming the substrate with a plaster primer;
2) application of a primer layer of dispersion facade paint;
3) application of a top coat of dispersion facade paint.
The old façade made of a clinker brick face wall is to be impregnated with silicone resins. The wall is heavily soiled. Clinker is mat absorbent, but the joints - highly absorbent. Please specify the workflow
At the beginning, the wall should be thoroughly cleaned, using a high-pressure hot water jet for this purpose. The effect of such cleaning is very good, and besides, the wall does not get too wet, because a strongly impinging stream of water is equally strongly reflected. Of course, traditional cleaning can also be performed, using a brush and water. Before impregnation, the wall must dry well.
Impregnation, on the other hand, consists in applying the impregnating substance with a brush or by spraying, until the substrate is saturated.
Excess impregnation is removed from the clinker and pressed into the joints made of a more absorbent material.
