Strong mold growth and slight mechanical damage were found on the paint coating on the facade of the house, The medium-grained plaster was made of a mortar corresponding to the Pila group. The old coating was made of dispersion paint. Please describe the order and type of work during the new coating
The following works must be carried out in sequence:
1) cleaning the facade of fungus and dirt using hot water under high pressure;
2) applying a layer of a special fungicide;
3) repairing small damage to the plaster using mortar of the same type;
4) priming with dispersion paint for external painting, fungicidal;
5) surface painting with a fungicidal dispersion paint.
It is essential to follow the manufacturer's recommendations, regarding minimum paint consumption. If it is not possible to obtain the required film thickness in two coats, a third painting is necessary.
You can also use facade paints with a fungicidal effect, containing solvents. The solvent content in this case means a greater environmental burden, and the advantages of painting with such paints are noticeable, when painting work is carried out at a temperature above 278 K (5°C).
